Marin TV Producers: Submit Your Work for the 2014 Hometown Media Awards!

The Alliance for Community Media (ACM) has issued its call for entries for the Hometown Media Awards. The submission deadline is Wednesday, April 30th — just over two weeks away.

The Hometown Media Awards honor and promote programs created for our local community television channels. Awards are presented to creative programs that address community needs, develop diverse community involvement, challenge conventional commercial television formats, and move viewers to experience television in a different way.

This year’s Hometown Media Awards will be presented at a dinner celebration on Thursday, August 7, 2014 in Philadelphia, PA. The Hometown Celebration is held during the Alliance’s annual conference which is attended by community media professionals, producers and advocates.

All of us at CMCM have been very impressed with the programs seen on Marin TV over past year - take this opportunity to show your work on a national stage! To submit your work, click here. Good luck to all!
