The first stand-up comedian to perform virtually online, Natasha Vinik knows a thing or two about being funny. In "Finding the Humor in Life," she'll share her point of view — and valuable pointers — about how to find levity in your own life — especially during challenging times.

Ask the Experts: Journey of the Independent Author on April 29

Thinking about self-publishing your memoir? In "Journey of the Independent Author," memoir author Wendy Menara will explain, in practical detail, the creative and business processes she experienced launching her first book. She will also share the steps she took to land a spot on Kirkus Reviews Best Indie Books 2020.

Ask the Experts: WisdomVR Project on May 6

Join founders Gary Yost and Adam Loften in a discussion of immersive media and VR documentaries in the context of their recent VR experience “Inside COVID19.” In the "WisdomVR Project, Yost and Loften cut through the chaos of 2020 and dive deep in the story of how SARS-CoV-2 hijacked our culture and our bodies.

"ODD & off" Virtual Photo Exhibit through April 30

CMCM Offering Curbside Service

The Community Media Center of Marin is offering curbside equipment check-outs/ins on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 12 – 6 PM.

Camera-certified members who wish to check out equipment may do so by making a Reservation on the CMCM website. Please call the Front Desk at (415) 721-0636 x14 when you arrive. A Station Assistant (wearing mask and gloves) will bring the equipment to your car.

Equipment picked up on a Tuesday must be returned that Saturday; equipment picked up on Saturday must be returned the next Tuesday. Should a pick-up or return be delayed, members must call CMCM immediately at (415) 721-0636 x14. Please leave a detailed voicemail message if necessary.

As soon as Marin County authorities give us the "green light," CMCM will re-open with required protocols in place for the continued health and safety of our staff and members. Stay tuned!
