Marin TV features Link TV's Global Spirit series. Global Spirit is a unique "internal travel" series that brings to light the various practices - spiritual, mental and physical - that help us define who we are as human beings and explore how this effects our relationships and the world at large.

It is a busy election season in Marin with many candidates running for positions in the June elections. To make informed choices, tune in on Marin TV or catch the debates and dialogues online. In addition to these public forums, also check out the online judicial interviews by Latino Marin and Marin Voices and Views.

The deadline to register or change party affiliation is May 23, 2016. Election day is June 7, 2016

The CA Democratic Party Presidential Primary is 'partially closed', meaning you must be registered as a Democrat or No Party Preference to participate. If you don't remember what party you are registered under, you can check here: http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/registration-status/ If you need to register or re-register to change party affiliation, you can do it here online: http://registertovote.ca.gov/

Global 3000

Global 3000 looks at the issues that are moving us today, and shows how people are living with the opportunities and risks of globalization.

Danish social entrepreneur Thorkil Sonne set up an IT company in 2004 called "Specialisterne" that employs people with autism. These people's difficulties are often accompanied by unique talents, such as razor-sharp memories, great powers of concentration, precision and an eye for detail.

Bioneers on Marin TV

In partnership with Bioneers and the Computer Club House, CMCM's Marin Media Corps taught high school students video training for video coverage of events held at the Youth Tent at the Bioneers' Annual Conference at the Civic Center. Such events included a Poetry Slam, Open Mic, Floating Island Bio-Filter Launch and Rising Seas, Raising Awareness and Readying Marin.

Silenced Majority

Amy Goodman stopped off in Palo Alto on her 100-city tour leading up to the 2012 Election Day. Goodman discusses her latest book, The Silenced Majority: Stories of Uprisings, Occupations, Resistance, and Hope, at the First Presbyterian Church.

The event was a benefit for Democracy Now! and Peninsula Peace and Justice Center. Goodman was joined by Denis Moynihan, co-author of their new book. Denis has been a Democracy Now! team member since 2001 and co-writes Amy's weekly newspaper column.

Live Midterm Election Special

Democracy Now! will air a LIVE five-hour midterm election special.

Tune in beginning at 4 PM as the first polls close. Amy Goodman and Juan González will co-host the special broadcast from New York City and will be joined by guests across the country.

During the coverage, CMCM will provide local updates on the hour.
