Three Point Lighting

This hands-on workshop covers the principles of three-point lighting and how to achieve greater stylistic control when shooting in the field.  Learn how to safely operate different types of lights including Lowel Omni 500s, Lowel Pro lights, and Photoflex Starlite softboxes.  Explore contrast ratios to create various moods and how to make better use of existing conditions when few or no lights are available.

Prerequisite:  Certification in Basic Field Camera Production

Jeanette Egenlauf attended Marymount College, but after her first year decided a hands-on program was what she wanted. At Berkley Digital Film Institute (BDFI) she studied the camera, learned how to edit, wrote scripts, directed, and produced a variety of videos.
