These photographs were inspired by striking local scenery and views encountered in such places as Lake Tahoe, Mendocino, Cabo, and the west coast of Ireland.

I captured these magnificent landscapes from unusual vantage points, and under dramatic conditions of lighting, storm or transitions. Birds frequently found their way into the images, adding personality and a touch of humor.
