Paul Gauguin’s inner quests and imaginings and his intimate relationships shaped his experiences, his work, and his development as an artist. Maureen O’Brien, a docent from the de Young Museum, will share stories of how Gauguin’s relationships infused his extraordinary and enigmatic art.
