In this class, students will learn some hard-won lessons about sourdough fermentation and gluten-free baking. Participants will go home with their very own sourdough starter, and the knowledge they'll need to keep it thriving for years to come.

Learn to your equipment, expand hive for spring, prevent swarms - and if that fails, swarm capture, bait hives, and pest management. Topics will also include dealing with special situations: aggressive hives, queen failures, and laying workers.
