Marin TV and the Northern California Quiz Bowl Alliance are proud to announce a new local tournament series that will give local high schools a roadmap to state and national level championships.

“Quiz Bowl” is an academic competition in which two teams of students compete to earn as many points as possible answering questions spanning literature, history, science, art, music, mythology, religion, philosophy, social science, geography, current events, and pop culture.

Select tournaments will be televised and air on the Marin TV Education Channel (Comcast 30). Students, family, and friends will be able to watch their contest of wits on TV and online.

Participating teams are also encouraged to participate in the Northern California State Championship. The top 15% of teams from local and state tournaments will qualify for the NAQT High school National Championship Tournament.
