Produce Television, Get Benefits
The Marin Media Corps is a program designed to train and deploy high school students into media coverage of events in Marin County. Click here to join the Marin Media Corps for the upcoming semester!
How it works
Students entering the program will first attend a Media Corps orientation where they will learn about training and upcoming events. As members of the corps, training fees are waived at the Community Media Center of Marin. Once they are ready to begin filming, students can sign up for local event coverage such as film festivals, conferences, concerts, sporting events and more. Each participant is required to work at 3 local events per semester in the corps. At the end of each semester participants are required to report on their events and experiences at an MCOE board meeting.
