Hello CMCM Supporters!
We'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who has come forward and generously donated to ensure the future of your Community Media Center. It really makes a difference and we truly appreciate it! In the two weeks since our last update, we've reached almost $7,000 towards our matching grant of $50,000. While we're still in the fledgling stage of our campaign, this gives us a base on which we can continue to build momentum and galvanize our communities. In helping us, you are playing an integral part in building a foundation for future storytellers, citizen journalists, and local leaders.
It is our hope that you will continue to help us spread the word about CMCM and Marin TV and the need to support our efforts through this donor campaign. If you haven't already, we encourage you to make a donation - of whatever amount you can afford - and to encourage other community members to do so. Our grassroots-funding model reflects our approach to media: accountability to the community, not to advertisers or special interests. That is why we are asking for your support.
