Learn the Art of Broadcast Interviews with Jim Oswald at the April Mixer

Wednesday, April 4th from 6:30 - 8:30 PM
Learn how to speak on camera like a pro! From interview tips and techniques, to conveying your personality to a mass audience, join us for a presentation and Q&A on how to make your interviews and those of your guests the best they can be.
 
Jim Oswald is the Communications Manager for The Marine Mammal Center in Marin County. As a spokesman for the Center, Jim encounters a variety of news interview requests and will share best practices in giving interviews to the broadcast media as well as ways to make your interviewees comfortable in front of the camera. Jim was formerly a news producer for KSEE-TV (NBC) in Fresno where he produced a daily, weekday morning show. He later became an evening news producers and has produced special segments.  He’s also media trained executives, preparing them for national and local interviews. Come prepared with your own questions about the topic.
