Leadership Lectures and Workshop Series highlight extraordinary individual, organizational and societal leadership.

The Lecture Series seeks to promote constructive change in our community and its organizations by bringing to Dominican University of California some of the country’s leading figures from the world of politics, entertainment, academia, and literature.

After spending a hundred days a year in Europe for the last 25 years, Rick Steves – author of 30 European travel guidebooks and host of the PBS TV series Rick Steves’ Europe – believes that thoughtful travel is a powerful way for Americans to broaden their perspectives. Mr. Steves will address multiple topics, including how travel can help us become better citizens of our planet, and how his social activism is a natural outgrowth of his travel experiences. As Mark Twain wrote, ‘Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness.
