Smartphone & Tablet Moviemaking

We're at the start of a video revolution! Thanks to the development of smartphones and tablets, anyone can create quality movies on a shoestring budget. This practical and entertaining five-part series covers everything you'll need to know to plan, shoot, and edit a movie -- including what apps and equipment will be most helpful -- using your smartphone or tablet. You will learn how to use simple techniques for composing pictures like a pro; use inexpensive yet powerful video apps and lenses; record professional-quality sound; use tools and techniques for moving the camera; edit on a smartphone or tablet; upload your videos to YouTube and Facebook.

Phones and tablets attendees may use for this workshop are: 

• iPhone (any model)
• Samsung Galaxy S3 or later phone
• Nokia 1020 
• iPad (any model)
• Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet
