Democracy Now!

Democracy Now! will expand to a daily two-hour broadcast during the 2012 Republican and Democratic National Conventions. Amy Goodman and the Democracy Now! crew will travel to Tampa Bay and Charlotte to report from the streets, to the suites, to the convention floor.

On the opening day of the 2008 Republican Convention, Goodman and two producers were unlawfully arrested and subjected to excessive force while reporting on a public protest surrounding the convention.

Did you miss the inaugural San Rafael Pacifics baseball game Monday night? You can relive the excitement of the first professional baseball game in Marin since 1910 this weekend on Marin TV.

Through an unprecedented collaboration of local media professionals, the game featured hosts Bruce MacGowan and Rich Walcoff, two of the Bay Area's most notable sports journalists. Roving cameras captured the reinvigorated community spirit in the newly renovated Albert Park and both teams showcased some very impressive baseball.
