This past Monday, CMCM opened it's studio early to host a nationally satellitecast live feed of Democracy Now!. The Oct 22nd edition of DN! originated from our studio as well as an extended interview with Shane Bauer. Shane was one of three Americans detained in 2009 while hiking in Iraq’s Kurdish region near the Iranian border, he was held captive for 26 months.
