In an effort to improve the Member Mixer format, and prepare for a presentation in April, the March Member Mixer (scheduled for tonight) has been cancelled.

The April Member Mixer will feature Ken Smith, who will present his film "112 Years at the Ranch," followed by a Q & A session.

Mark your calendar and plan on attending this informative and inspiring event.

April Media Mixer

We are getting ready for an amazing lineup for our April Media Mixer. Presenters will be renowned photographer Sharon Caplan Cohen, whose work will be on display in the CMCM Gallery during April; and "Arizmendi's Secret," a documentary produced by CMCM member Phil Murphy in collaboration with videographer/editor Jeanette Egenlauf. Join the staff from Arizmendi Bakery for a sneak preview of this short subject before it airs on Marin TV.

CMCM Screening: Cuba, Libre

An informative and insightful documentary about Cuba's past and present will be screened at CMCM on Saturday, February 13.

Members are invited to arrive at 6:30 PM to mix and mingle prior to the 7 PM presentation of "Cuba, Libre," produced by member Dick Jordan, a prolific travel writer and blogger.

FEBRUARY MEDIA MIXER

The public is invited to a free presentation at the CMCM Media Mixer on Wednesday, February 1 from 7 to 8:30 PM.

"The Evolution of the TV Camera from Phil T. Farnsworth to the iPhone" will be the topic explored by CMCM member, video producer, director, and writer Ed Dudkowski. The multimedia presentation will include historic videos and slides along with a lecture on the invention and history of television. Come mingle and enjoy free refreshments and an informative and entertaining presentation.

Join the June Media Mixer Featuring Dr. Cyrus Thomas, producer and host of “Alternative Medicine.” He will give a short presentation on how to produce a good
quality TV show and how to streamline the many facets of producing a studio shoot and creating a fun atmosphere for the volunteer crew.
