Introduction to Color Correction

Think you're stuck with contrast issues or color that doesn't match from scene to scene? Use color correction to achieve a balanced look -- or create a dramatic mood -- in your next video production.

Color correction is the process of making adjustments to the color and contrast of the shots in your video. This three-hour workshop will explore the basic color correction functions in Final Cut Pro X.  You’ll learn how to fix clips that may be too bright or dark, balance colors between shots, and even stylize the appearance of your images to create an artistic effect.  Prerequisite: Certification in Final Cut Pro 7 or X

Sessions: 1

Date: Tuesday, October 14 (6 - 9 PM)

Kryss attended San Francisco State University and graduated with a B.A. in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts. In his junior year, he became the Community Media Center of Marin’s very first intern. A couple of years later, he became the Final Cut Pro instructor.
