Basic Final Cut Pro Editing

This three session, hands-on course teaches students to perform basic editing functions while becoming familiar with the Final Cut Pro user interface. Topics include basic setup, customizing preferences and settings, capturing video and audio, various editing and trimming techniques, basic audio editing and final output. We will cover some useful concepts and terminology for digital video editing. This class is required to use our edit lab. Pre-requisites: Students should have knowledge of Mac OS X and basic computer navigation. You must attend all three sessions to become certified. Sessions: 3 Dates: June 12, 19, 26 6:00-9:00pm
