Basic Field Lighting

This course teaches the basic principles of three point lighting and how to achieve greater stylistic control when shooting in the field. Attendees will learn how to safely operate several types of lights including Lowel Omni 500s, Lowel Pro-lights and Photoflex Starlite softboxes, how to use contrast ratios to create different ‘moods’, and how to make better use of existing conditions when few or no lights are available. This course is restricted to members who are already Basic Field Camera certified.
